Small seeds, quiet moments

Wellbeing Science program encourages students to notice, nurture, and savour microjoys
Students kicked off term 2 House Time by diving into their new Wellbeing Science theme: microjoys and savouring.
Their first activity, planting seeds, set the tone beautifully. With soil, pots, and plenty of enthusiasm, students explored how a simple, hands‑on task can spark calm, curiosity, and small daily moments of joy. Many even hunted for the perfect patch of sunlight to give their seedlings the best start.
Over the coming weeks, students will care for their plants, track tiny changes, and record their growth. It’s a gentle reminder that when we nurture small moments with intention, they can grow into something meaningful.
