History made: Open boys team bring home the title

A huge congratulations to our Open Boys Football team on their outstanding victory in the Knockout Football Open Boys Grand Final against Woodville High School at The Summit Sport and Recreation Park.

This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication and teamwork shown by the students throughout the season. The victory is made even more special as it marks the school’s first Open Boys Knockout Football Grand Final win since 1991, ending a 35-year wait for the title.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, the premiership trophy was presented by Chris ‘Brownie’ Brown, after whom the trophy is named, making the moment even more memorable for the players and supporters.

We also acknowledge the efforts of the coaching staff, families and supporters who have encouraged the team every step of the way. We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented our school both on and off the field.
