Fantastic night at the carols

This year saw the Mt. Barker Community Carols event move to the Summit Sports complex with the stage situated in the middle of the Football oval.

With the largest crowd ever in attendance, approximately six to eight thousand people watching, this was the foremost showcase of 2025  for all the local schools to connect with the community alongside major entertainers and the carols band ensemble. 

Our school choir delivered a wonderful Christmas Medley, featuring festive favourites such as Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town, Here Comes Santa Claus, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, and Frosty the Snowman. They also performed Light a Candle, showcasing beautiful two-part harmonies throughout the piece.

The choir sang exceptionally well, earning high praise from former students, including the comment: “This was the best the choir has ever sounded.” What an incredible compliment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students during rehearsals.
