Year 12 English

Our Year 12 English and Literary Studies students recently took part in an immersive learning experience at the Adelaide Gaol. The excursion offered students the opportunity to explore the many stories connected to colonial Adelaide and the individuals once incarcerated at the site.

Students represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating curiosity, respect, and initiative as they engaged with tour guides and independently sought out historical details relevant to their chosen narrative focus. The experience has enriched their understanding of historical context and equipped them with vivid detail to strengthen their historical narrative writing this term.
