Robotics National Championships

The VEX National Robotics Competition lit up the Adelaide Convention Centre on the weekend of December 6 and 7, with more than 200 teams from across Australia battling it out in fast, fierce, and exhilarating matches.

IQ Middle School Division (57 teams) – Game: Mix and Match
Flutter Force
Ranked 37th after qualifying and 20th in Skills, a strong effort in a national field.
XPAL
Our late wildcard entry impressed, finishing 21st, reaching the equal 8th finals alliance, and placing 8th in Skills.
Dragon Pulse
Finished 17th, made the 4th finals alliance, and placed 22nd in Skills, despite one team member missing a day.
404 Not Found
Consistently performed at a top-10% level. Several alliance missteps, including in finals, sadly cost them their best shot at a Worlds invitation. Their scoring pace matched the eventual champions’ State performance almost point for point. They finished 10th overall, made the 7th finals alliance, and placed 21st in Skills.

V5 Middle School Division (38 teams) – Game: Push Back
Land Phill
In their first year tackling the more advanced V5 system, the team won 4 of 10 matches, ranked 24th, reached the finals (round of 16), and placed 22nd in Skills, a fantastic start in a demanding division.
