• Science as a Human Endeavour Report - 1500 words
• Organic Synthesis Practical Report - 1500 words
• Deconstruction and Design Practical Report - 1500 words

Skills and Applications Tasks  40%

• Practical Skills Test - 90 minutes
• Monitoring the Environment and Managing Chemical Processes Test - 90 minutes
• Organic Chemistry Test - 90 minutes
• Managing Resources Test - 90 minutes

Examination  30%

• Students undertake a 130-minute examination
• Year 12 science inquiry skills and science understanding from all Year 12 topics may be assessed
