SACE Stage 1 Year 11 Curriculum Overview

Compulsory Subjects
Students study one of the subjects from each group below.

Full-year of either:
English
English Literary Studies
Essential English
Vocational English

One Semester of either:
Essential Mathematics
General Mathematics A
Mathematics A         
Students wishing to study Mathematics in Year 12 must complete at least a full year of either General Mathematics or Mathematics. Students wishing to study Specialist Mathematics in Year 12 must complete Mathematics C.

One Semester of:
Research Practices

One Semester of either
Research Project A or Research Project B
