Hindmarsh House

Hindmarsh House was established in 1928, making it one of the founding houses of Mount Barker High School. It is named in honour of Sir John Hindmarsh, the first Governor of South Australia, who played a pivotal role in the early governance and development of the colony.

The original colour of Hindmarsh house was gold, which was then changed to white in 1944.
